Weekly Photo Challenge: Work of Art

When someone says “art,” they often use it as shorthand for “paintings and sculptures.” Art is everywhere, though: in nature, in architecture, in literature, and more. It’s anywhere we see beauty and meaning.

Michelle has challenged us to describe what ‘work of art’ means to us.

I like these photos from Floriade (Canberra, ACT)  because from the ground the flowers looked beautiful but it wasn’t until we were up on the Ferris Wheel that we were able to see what work of art had been created!

About Retired2Travel

My passion has been for many, many years landscape photography so when the chance came up to retire early, in order to travel, I took it! It made sense then to marry the two (travel and photography) and create this blog. I hope you enjoy it :)
