Hump Day Post: Chateau Lake Louise

When we visited Canada, it was a magic time – springtime.

Never in our wildest dreams did we think that The Rockies would be so breathtaking! One of so many highlights was having High Tea at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. If you haven’t ventured into it, just stepping inside and taking a look is a feast for the eyes.

When you’ve taken in the inside, go out for a stroll to the outside and allow your senses be overwhelmed with nature. Walking around Lake Louise is magical – but don’t take my word for it. It’s a must see location!

About Retired2Travel

My passion has been for many, many years landscape photography so when the chance came up to retire early, in order to travel, I took it! It made sense then to marry the two (travel and photography) and create this blog. I hope you enjoy it :)

  5. Living near the Canadian Rockies was one of the best things about six years spent in Calgary. But not the winters. Pictures never get old; love that place; too bad you didn’t make Jasper; just as nice as Banff and less croded. Or did you?
