Photography 101 – Pop of Colour

Day 11 ‘The colors in our photographs are evocative and rouse emotions within us. Color can elevate a mundane image into something intriguing and meaningful, and can tell a particular story within the frame.’

For today, I have chosen pastel colours. They are not bold but they are gentler on the eye and I like that!

‘Don’t ignore soft, pastel shades — colors like mint, pale pink, and powder blue can make statements, too. Try juxtaposing these with black and darker shades.’

About Retired2Travel

My passion has been for many, many years landscape photography so when the chance came up to retire early, in order to travel, I took it! It made sense then to marry the two (travel and photography) and create this blog. I hope you enjoy it :)
