Weekly Photo Challenge: Wall

Cheri has challenged us this week to: ‘Consider the walls you’ve erected and decorated, the halls you walk down each day, or the exteriors you’ve ignored or neglected. What do these walls reveal about a place, people, or you?’

I’m sharing the walls of Nymphenburg Palace in Munich, Germany with you. We’ve been there twice and still can’t get my head around what I see. If you’re ever in Munich, it’s a must see 🙂

I think what these wall reveals is sheer affluence!

About Retired2Travel

My passion has been for many, many years landscape photography so when the chance came up to retire early, in order to travel, I took it! It made sense then to marry the two (travel and photography) and create this blog. I hope you enjoy it :)

  1. Besides being gorgeous, it always blows my mind how the artists of that generation created such masterpieces with the tools they had available. 🙂

Reminded me of the Versailles Palace in Paris. Amazing the affluence that was held by so few in those times, isn’t it? Thanks for sharing this one; amazing!
