We’re on week four now and already places are beginning to be a blur 🙂
So we’ve done a great deal of milage this week as we crossed the border to South Australia (SA). It’s been an interesting week with Easter and gale force winds making it a little challenging. Nevertheless, it’s been an experience 🙂
We loved these bathing boxes which are iconic in Victoria and loved seeing a young family taking a weekend break in one of these. So cute!
Noteworthy location along the way: Mount Gambier is truly amazing! There’s so much to do and see there. A couple of my favourite places were the Umpherston Sinkhole and the Cave Garden and I must admit, not many places can boast of having great big holes in the middle of the township. They are spectacular in spring and summer when the flowers are in bloom so even though that wasn’t the case now, it’s still worth seeing. Take a look.
As we’re travelling around Australia for X amount of months, I’ll keep the Hump Day Post (HDP) (on Wednesdays) for our journey and will continue to take part in the Weekly Photo Challenge (on Saturdays) – where possible. I’ll repeat this every week, just in case you’ve just joined me 🙂
