The best part of this week has been spent in Kangaroo Island in South Australia. Whilst I know the beauty of this island, it chose not to reveal much of itself to us during the five days we were there 😦 Instead, it showed us very gray skies and gave us howling freezing winds with the exception of intermittent patches of blue skies – just for a tease!
If you haven’t ventured there so far, it’s worth putting it on your bucket list – there’s so much to see. The island itself is not overly big – some 155 kilometres long and up to 55 kilometres wide and covers an area of 4,416 square kilometres.
I know each season has its own beauty and this autumn here was no exception. So, here’s part of some of the best days we’ve had 🙂
As we’re travelling around Australia for X amount of months, I’ll keep the Hump Day Post (HDP) (on Wednesdays) for our journey and will continue to take part in the Weekly Photo Challenge (on Saturdays) – where possible. I’ll repeat this every week, just in case you’ve just joined me 🙂
