This week Cheri has challenged us to share something (extra) ordinary.
‘What’s mundane yet meaningful to you? What’s a beautiful everyday thing? Or, maybe you can capture an ordinary setting or common scene that has somehow transformed — with festive decor or a new coat of paint.’
During our travels one of the most beautiful places we visited was the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. We were lucky enough to be there when the wild flowers came to bloom and although I have an allergy to windflowers, it was hard not to admire their beauty – albeit through teary sore eyes 😂
This is my (extra) ordinary entry for this week’s challenge.

Ah, what we suffer for our art! Well worth the teary eyes, I’d say – this is gorgeous!

Lovely, doubly so because of the tears that went into the making of it. 🙂

Thank you Isadora. Just looking at them is enough for me. Occasionally I can’t help myself and I do touch them, but only when I can wash my hands straight away, otherwise the allergy gets a lot worse 😭
