WPC: Transition

This week Jen has challenged us to ‘share an image that depicts transition’

As always, these challenges are a challenge to me and it takes me a while to think of what I can share with you.

This first thing that came to mind was our visit to Natural Bridge in Queensland.  In our first visit, a small steady flow was present and the water was reflective of the greenery above. A very peaceful and gentle waterfall.

Natural Bridge before rain

Overnight we had quite a lot of rain so we decided to go back. The difference was quite clear with the heavy falls from above making the water muddy brown below and the once visible fallen log, now served as a guide for the fast running water.

Quite a transition from gentle falls to raging waters within twenty-four hours.

About Retired2Travel

My passion has been for many, many years landscape photography so when the chance came up to retire early, in order to travel, I took it! It made sense then to marry the two (travel and photography) and create this blog. I hope you enjoy it :)

  5. Oh, thank you Isadora. Nature’s power is amazing and even though the transition here is gentle, it goes to show how it can change in a short time.
