Weekly Photo Challenge: Season

This week Jen has challenged us to, ‘share an image that embodies the world or the weather where you live.’

It’s definitely has been a long HOT summer down under this year. So, I’m sharing this sunset complete with bush fire in the distance from Western Australia.

Derby, WA, (17 of 34) August 2015

Definitely, NOT my favourite season!

About Retired2Travel

My passion has been for many, many years landscape photography so when the chance came up to retire early, in order to travel, I took it! It made sense then to marry the two (travel and photography) and create this blog. I hope you enjoy it :)

I thought it was rain coming down in the top, left corner not an unwelcome bushfire! Lovely photo.

A truly lovely capture although rather sad about the fire. Even beautiful summer brings it’s challenges doesn’t it? I personally would ALWAYS rather be too hot than too cold! Here’s hoping you get a bit of a cool-down soon.

  6. Gorgeous photo, even if it’s thanks to a bush fire! If summer isn’t your favourite season, which is? 🙂
